What is Children`s Television?

Student television is television made by students, for students. Student TV in the UK consists of stations run by students at institutions across the country producing a variety of shows and making them available to other students. Each station depends on the commitment of many members, not just from media courses but every degree imaginable, doing everything from building equipment and filming shows to scriptwriting, book keeping and research.

For any student wishing to progress into a career in TV, being involved in student TV is an invaluable source of experience, in production, teamwork, leadership and training new members. Many of these skills are of interest not just to TV companies but a wide range of employers.

What Is TV Show?

Children's TV exists to bring together all the student online TV stations from across the UK, to help them communicate as a community and overcome problems, to offer advice, and to help new stations set up. It organises an annual conference and awards ceremony to showcase the best in Student Television, and raise the profile of Student Television in the industry.
